Getting Here

From Edinburgh and Glasgow, travel on the M8 and exit at Junction 28A on to the A737 (Irvine) road which by-passes Johnstone, Kilbarchan and Howwood. At the Roadhead Roundabout, turn right on to the A760 and travel for approximately one mile.
From Ayr, travel on the A77, leading to the A78. At Irvine, turn right on to the A737 and travel through Kilwinning and Dalry, taking the A760 at Kilbirnie.

Buses run from Glasgow to Largs stopping at Lochwinnoch. There is also a local Arriva bus service to Johnstone.

The Lochwinnoch Loop Line is part of the National Cycle Network in Scotland. This 14 mile stretch starts at Paisley Canal Station and runs along traffic free paths out to Lochwinnoch and beyond to Kilbirnie and Irvine.
